Park Schools Montessori is Hiring an Assistant Head of School Near Atlanta, GA

The Montessori Assistant Director will mentor the Park Schools Montessori teaching team and use programmatic data to provide quality assurance oversight to ensure that program delivery meets educational standards and aligns with Montessori principles. The position is ideal for a Montessori certified professional with a Bachelor's degree in education who has preschool teaching experience and is ready to assume a role in administration. ***This job offers Montessori certification if the right candidate does not have the certification but is a dynamic leader and educational developer with a desire to for grow with the organization!***

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Minimum of a Bachelor’s degree in education or related field required, Master’s degree preferred.
  • AMI Montessori certification. Expertise in Montessori philosophy and practice.
  • At least 4 years working with children 0-6.
  • Must be a highly motivated team player with excellent organizational and interpersonal skills.
  • Passionate about educating young minds and strengthening families and building community.
  • Demonstrated appreciation of diversity and support for social justice efforts.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, and the ability to coach and mentor adults.
  • Flexibility to make thoughtful decisions in an evolving, multi-faceted environment with fluctuating demands.
  • Must be able to work well with all persons on the administration team.
  • Must be a trustworthy person who demonstrates the same positive countenance while with teachers, colleagues, parents or direct supervisor.
  • Ability to understand and use programmatic data to improve program quality.
  • Must have oral and written proficiency in the English language.
  • Must be able to work the hours of the position based on the organization’s needs, including willingness to participate in school after-hours events, as needed.
  • Must have working knowledge of computers and be adept in commonly used software for email, internet, word processing, data collection, entry and analysis.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $45,000.00 - $48,000.00 per year
